PRODUCTION PROFILE
The Joint Cooperation Body (BKS) PI Blok Cepu carried out a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program titled “Tracing Footsteps, Igniting Energy” through the construction of paving at the courtyard of the Mbah Pung Ancient Boat Site in Ngraho Village, Gayam District, Bojonegoro Regency. The initiative was led by PT ADS as the main executor and involved collaboration with PT Petrogas Jatim Utama Cendana, PT Sarana Patra Hulu Cepu, and PT Blora Patragas Hulu.
The program aims to preserve and maintain cultural heritage in the form of a Metal Boat located in Ngraho Village. Through the cooperation between East Java’s region-owned enterprises (BUMD) and the local community, the historic site is regarded as an important cultural asset that must be safeguarded.
In addition to physical maintenance through paving works, the event also featured the Ancient Iron Boat Inscription Dialogue which engaged residents and local figures. The dialogue served as a platform to deepen the community’s understanding of the historical values of the Metal Boat and the importance of preserving local cultural heritage.
The Mbah Pung Ancient Boat Site holds significant benefits, not only as a historical legacy but also as an educational medium for future generations and the wider public to learn about metal technology and the origins of the boat. Furthermore, the site is expected to attract visitors, thereby supporting the development of cultural and historical tourism potential in Bojonegoro.
